Hello, my name is Ross Jarrett and I live in Orlando, Florida. I am an artist and a certified retinal angiographer, or “eye imager.” I began as a fine arts photographer after attending photography schools – the John Herron Art Institute in Indianapolis from 1969 – 1971 and the Miami Photography College from 1976 – 1978. I have been an ophthalmic photographer since 1979. I am currently working in Tampa, Florida with the International Eye Center. Through my journeys, “Retinascapes” was born. I believe that “Retinascapes” celebrate vision and the miracle we have been blessed with. I show my appreciation of vision by painting the natural details of the human eye. After all, the reasoning and appreciation of visual beauty wouldn’t be possible without our eyes.
